Three in a row! Magic Martin masters Motegi

Gambar
Jorge Martin is fast becoming the king of MotoGP™ Saturdays. The Prima Pramac rider has been on another planet in Japan as he followed up his record-breaking pole position with a third consecutive Tissot Sprint victory. Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) did his level best to keep tabs on the #89, but in the end crossed the line 1.3s behind the GP23, while Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) secured third. The launch from the line Martin has led every lap in the past two Tissot Sprints, and he went about keeping up that proud record with a superb launch from the line that gave him the holeshot going into Turn 1. He wasn’t the only one to get off the line well, with the factory KTMs of Jack Miller and Binder swallowing up Bagnaia in the lead up to the opening corner. https://player.soundon.fm/p/9f066f24-f59b-4d86-8a8e-b12bf152b9a7 https://player.soundon.fm/p/c9b468dd-b149-4cc1-b303-2704c14ca83d https://player.soundon.fm/p/65907c4e-67fa-4991-904a-64de0147baa5 https://player.s

MotoGP Japanese GP: Binder tops FP2, Marquez and Quartararo crash

Gambar
After it made its race debut at the San Marino GP with wildcard Dani Pedrosa, KTM has brought its new carbon fibre chassis to Japan for factory riders Binder and Jack Miller. With the new chassis offering better rear grip on the RC16, Binder used this to maximum effect on the soft rear tyre at the end the second practice to go fastest of all with a 1m43.489s, beating the eight-year-old lap record set by Jorge Lorenzo. Binder headed championship leader Francesco Bagnaia by 0.029 seconds, while Aleix Espargaro completed the top three for Aprilia, the top three all surpassing Lorenzo's 2015 benchmark. The Q1 session in qualifying will feature all three previous champions prior to Bagnaia in 2022, as crashes for Yamaha’s Quartararo and Honda’s Marquez left both outside of the top 10. Joan Mir will also join that trio having been unable to replicate his top five form from FP1 in the afternoon. https://player.soundon.fm/p/f6660407-0542-42a4-ba0e-5c0cbc9ef929 https://player.soundon.fm/p

What to look out for on UEFA Europa League Matchday 2

There could be a family affair at Anfield, West Ham are heading back to Germany and four new challengers are set to make their home bows in the UEFA Europa League group stage. Brothers reunite It will certainly be a special occasion for the Mac Allister family on Matchday 2 with brothers Alexis from Liverpool and Kevin of Union SG set to face off at Anfield. Footage captured Kevin celebrating wildly when the draw was made, and he had a very simple message for the camera: "See you soon bro." Away from sibling rivalry, it will be an important match for both sides in what looks like being a highly competitive Group E, with Liverpool coming from behind to beat LASK away in their first game and Union SG drawing at home with Toulouse. Both clubs have passionate fans who follow their team through thick and thin, and there should be a superb atmosphere in store. https://player.soundon.fm/p/857d875f-8c65-45a1-b52e-ae4a41d6e41b https://player.soundon.fm/p/f06520e3-5b28-49cc-b715-f057
